What's this LIVE event all about?

We are a newly formed official Ohio State club at The Ohio State University with a common interest in the popular Super Smash Bros. franchise of video games, as well as helping the community. Our organization was formed with the higher motive of being able to give back to the surrounding Columbus, OH area by purchasing video games, board games, books etc. to children in hospitals and students in budget-cut schools. We hold events where college-age kids get together to socialize, play games and ultimately give back to those less fortunate. You can learn more about OSI and its members by visiting the About Us Page.

 How can I donate?

You can donate by clicking the "ChipIn!" widget next to this text. Donations are currently sent to teamdynastygm (at) gmail.com Paypal Account. This is Alex Montgomery's Personal Paypal account (Vice President). This is due to the fact that we were late in setting up OSI's Bank account. 100% of ALL donations will be sent over to OSI's bank account once active. All future events will be directed at OSI's account. Thanks for understanding. We will also be personally sending all donators a thank you email. The email will also contain footage of our charity in action as we lend a helping hand to the Columbus community.

 What's Different About Your Organization?

OSI has settled on the competitive gaming culture and most recently the Smash Bros. series of games. Hosting intense tournaments, casual play for players everywhere and high quality competitive gaming are just a few of the things you can expect. Instead of donating money directly to bigger charities like The Red Cross and Child's Play, OSI is using the money to directly support the surrounding Columbus area. We have plans to make wish-lists for the terminally ill after our first events follows through. You can learn more about OSI Charity by visiting our Charity Page.

When is the Next Event?

Our first event is the OSI Tournament I. It will be held on Saturday April 23, 2011 from 11 am to 8 pm at The Ohio State Union at The Ohio State University.  The room is on the first floor of the building, Great Hall meeting room 1 & 2 located next to Woody's Tavern and Station 88.  The entrance fee is $5 and tournament admission fee is $10. We're having a Melee Tournament with Round Robin and Double Elimination. Check out the Events Page for all the details.

Who are the Triple Speed Runners?

The Triple Speed Runners are a team of experienced gamers who speedrun video games and stream it online for various charity donations, most commonly DC Outreach. DC Outreach, Inc. holds a very special place amongst the members of TSR. Josh Clark, younger brother of Matthew, has an extremely rare genetic disease called Dyskeratosis Congenita or DC. DC has a number of symptoms, the most severe of which is bone marrow failure. Josh is 18 and loves to play video games. He has been in and out of the hospital most of his life. In the past, the money generously donated has paid for families to gather and meet others who suffer from this illness. Learn more about DC and TSR at www.TripleSpeedRunners.com
